  1. Tap a robot, tap a blue tile to move it (or the robot again to stay), then tap a red tile to attack.
  2. The Bonker punches next to it for 2 damage and a push, the Shooter fires along a line for 1 damage and a push, and the Lobber throws two or more tiles away, hurting the target and pushing the four tiles around it.
  3. Red markers show every bug attack; when all robots have acted, tap End Turn.
  4. Bugs pushed into water drown, and units pushed into each other both take damage.
  5. Keep the power above zero for five turns.

About the game

Push Tactics is a small turn-based tactics game on a seven-by-seven island. Your squad is three robot critters: a Bonker with big fists, a Shooter with a cannon and a Lobber that throws from range. Giant bugs crawl out of the ground and go for the villages, and every village they flatten drains the island's power grid. Survive five turns with power left and the island is saved; the power you keep decides your stars.

The twist is that you always know what the bugs will do. At the start of your turn every bug shows its attack with a red arrow and target, and those attacks are tied to where the bug stands. Move the bug and the attack moves with it. Punch a beetle so it faces the wrong way, push a spitter one tile so its shot now hits another bug (the marker turns yellow), shove a bug into water to drown it, or bump two bugs together so both get hurt. Glowing markers on the ground show where new bugs will climb out next turn; stand on one to block it at the cost of a little damage. Twelve islands add brutes, more spitters and bigger waves.
