About the game
Row Race puts you in a single scull on a four-lane river against four rival boats. Every tap is one oar stroke: left thumb for the left oar, right thumb for the right. Alternate them to run straight and stroke when the ring around your rower turns green. Rush the stroke and it is weak and tiring; wait too long and the boat loses glide. Rowing faster drains stamina, so settle into a pace and save some for the sprint.
The twist is the wake. Every boat leaves a foamy V of rough water behind it, and anything inside it slows down. Tuck in behind a rival and you lose speed, so pull the same oar twice to slide across a lane, find clear water and pass. Twelve regattas bring quicker crews who dodge wakes too. Finish on the podium to move on, first place earns three stars.
