About the game
Silent Count is a rhythm game about the clock inside your head. A hedgehog drummer and a small forest band play a steady beat, and you tap the drum along with them. Then the band fades out. The stage goes dark, and your only job is to keep tapping at exactly the same pace until the music returns.
The silent beats are the only ones that score, and you only find out how you did when the band comes back: a row of lanterns lights up one by one, and a timeline shows each tap early or late in milliseconds. Every beat accepts a single tap, so drumming wildly scores nothing. Songs get faster, the quiet gaps grow from four beats to sixteen, and later songs even change tempo between gaps, so listen closely before the silence. Clear a song with 55 percent of the points; 72 and 88 percent earn more stars.
