About the game
Triangle Shade is a shape puzzle played with half squares. Some cells are solid black walls, a few of them with numbers. Every other cell is either left white or filled with a black triangle that covers half of it, cut along a diagonal. When you are done, each white area left on the board must be a perfect rectangle. It may stand upright or be turned 45 degrees like a diamond, but it cannot have any notch, bend or spike. A number on a wall says how many of the cells right beside it hold a triangle.
Tap near the corner where you want the triangle's square corner to sit, and tap the same corner again to take it away. The twist is the mirror: whenever a white area closes into a true rectangle, it turns into polished glass with a light sweep running across it, so you can see at a glance which parts are finished. Thirty puzzles run from 5x5 to 8x8, each with exactly one answer.
